Rumours, lies and innuendo spread far, wide and fast on the Internet

The Internet has known to be a great medium that are able to interconnect us with the world. From breakthrough news to entertainment, we can get them anywhere, anytime within seconds. Though it’s there, right in front of our face and prompt, can we really rely on them?

Rumours, lies and innuendo, we could hear them every single day either from the net or straight from someone’s mouth, we just cannot stop them from going around and it would not stop, continuing story to story and so forth.

For instance, the ever-popular Facebook, we could lie all we want about our identity and all and no one would actually care. Here, we don’t see it as an offence but rather as an enjoyment or just for our own leisure. Another example is the Gaza-Israel war. Who is wrong, Israel or Palestine? Some say Israel, because they are occupying the West Bank in Gaza strip which belongs to Palestine and claimed the land is theirs while others say its Palestine’s fault and that.

On the whole, be careful of what you hear, read or see on the internet. Level of certainty of information from the internet will always be doubt whether it’s really the truth or the other way round but seriously, do not suck everything in (cause we tend to do so!). :)
