Rumors, lies and innuendo spread far, wide and fast on the Internet.

I agreed on what it says. Rumours, lies and innuendo spread far, wide and fast on the Internet. Normally, nowadays people use more on Internet then other medium to convey or transmit their ideas and information. The messages and information can spread to the whole world in just a second through the Internet. That is why when we are searching for information in Google, by just one click, all the information and people's opinion or ideas will immediately pop up onto the screen. Can you imagine how fast the Internet speed can be? Although the speed is very fast but are the information and ideas that we found telling the truth or not?

We cannot differentiate it whether is true or not but usually people will just take in everything they found in the web and it depends on the person who read it whether he believe is true or not. Mostly, we try to filter what we expose to from Internet. However, some of the people will just take in and think that is the truth of the news. Some of them knew that the information they get it is a fake one but they still do nothing towards the information. Some of them even change the fact to the fake. They use Internet to transmit that fake information which we call lies and rumours just to fool the authorities and they are trying to influence the authorities by doing that so the authorities think the way they think. For example, that's lots of bad rumours and lies of Obama. I found a discussion about the rumours of Obama in the following link. We really don't know which is true.

In facts, nowadays teenagers spend their time more on Internet. We can say that most of the teenagers have a Facebook and Frienster account. Some of them even have 3 to 4 bloggers. Some of them switch on the computer and straight he/she will automatically log on to Facebook or Friendster to look on the reply or comments that be left by. Some of the people will miss use the function of these things. They will try to tell lies and spread rumours to their friends by using that and they will start a discussion. For blogger, because of the advantages of blogger that they can express any ideas that they wanted to in their blogs and they started to miss-use it. They start to convey the wrong ideas and information in their blog. Those people that seen the blog might think the same way because being influence by the person's ideas. Although it is wrong but some of them might think that is the truth and he will start to spread to others again. It won't stop until the truth is review. Some of them even being brain wash by the lies and rumours and they think it is the real true fact. This happened because they rely too much on Internet.

By the way, we should be more cautions towards what we expose to from Internet because we don't know which one is the truth and which one is the fake one. Now, I think that there are few billions or people surfing information from webs. This is how news can spread throughout the whole world in not even a second. Be aware of lies, rumours and innuendo that spread from Internet.

This is the link which I found it that they are discussing about Obama and Bush. There are lots more. Just for a reference.

  1. Thank you for sharing the link. I'm thinking that whether this is for real or this is a sabotage. To proof this is correct, the person who post this matter up should provide evidences to support what he/she have to say and not just by posting up a few short sentences to deteriorate a person's goodwill which i think is irresponsible.

  2. I totally agree with the point that teenagers spend most of their time on the internet than any other things. Teenagers are at a very expressive age. They usually use their blogs to write their thoughts and feels. Sometimes they use the shout outs in facebook or friendster to express themselves. For example, if Anne is mad with a friend, she can post up a bad lie about that friend just for the sake of making herself happy and satisfied. When her friends in her network read what was written by Anne, they will believe and start to have a bad impresssion towards that person who was "sabotaged" by Anne. This is one way rumours and lies can get started on the internet.

  3. Teenagers spend most of their time logging on to the internet so separating them apart would not make any difference. They usually use the internet as a form to squeeze out their thoughts and feelings to basically the entire world. Lies and rumours also could be born from this. Teens for me are a very enthusiastic age level where they willingly spread and expose basically everything on the internet sometimes without any legal boundaries.

Try to consider whats on the internet and do not suck in everything.
